Tellaro – did you take a look around?

Here the road ends and you cannot go further …that is how Tellaro has preserved its old houses all huddled on top of each other, balanced perfectly and perched on the rocks, making the village one of the most attractive in the whole country.
Tourists are also attracted my the various festivals – such as the Underwater Christmas and  Octopus Fair of this fairy-tale village. But there is no better definition given to this magical and surprising place than the writer Mario Soldati’s comment: ‘Tellaro is a nirvana between sea and sky, rocks and green hills’.
